World War II Memorial Baltimore, Maryland |
Slight deviation from my World War I focus and today's entry is the World War II Memorial at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Baltimore, Maryland. I found this one way back in 2012 when I was going to Thomas MacEntee of Geneabloggers fame speak at the Enoch Pratt Free Library. Sad thing is I just found the pictures (and many more) on a random SD card!! Needless to say, I then check all the SD cards that I "thought" were blank!!
Here is the transcription:
HONOR ROLL
"WE HERE HIGHLY RESOLVE THAT THESE DEAD
SHALL NOT HAVE DIED IN VAIN"
1941 WORLD WAR II 1945
